Apple has announced its latest iPad that will replaced iPad Air 2. It is called as Apple iPad 9.7-Inch (2017). It runs on iOS 10 and comes with Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
The device measures 240 x 169.5 x 7.5 mm and weighs 469 grams (Wi-Fi) / 478 grams (Wi-Fi + Cellular). It has 32.4 Whr rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery that powers the hardware. It offers up to 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, Video watching or listening to music.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch (2017) specs include 9.7-inch Full Lamination Retina display with 264ppi pixel density. It has 2048 x 1536 pixels resoltuion and comes with Anti-Reflective coating.
It is powered by Apple’s 2nd Generation 64-bit A9 Chip with M9 motion coprocessor. It has 32GB / 128GB storage options. On the front side is a 1.2MP HD FaceTime camera with F/2.2 Aperture. The back side sports 8MP camera with F/2.4 Aperture, records 1080p videos and takes up to 43MP of Panorama.
It has optional 4G LTE, and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Channel (2.4/5GHz) and HT80 with MIMO, Bluetooth etc.
The Apple’s 9.7-inch iPad 2017 price starts at $329 for 32GB Wi-Fi Model and $459 for 32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular variant. The 128GB Wi-Fi variant has price-tag of $429 while the 12GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model costs $559. It will go on pre-order from March 24th at Apple.com. It will be available from next week at Apple Stores, select carries, Apple Authorized resellers in US and 20 more countries. The iPad 9.7-inch 2017 will come in Gold, Silver and Space Gray color options.
