If you are curiously waiting for Apple Watch 2 than we have some updates for your. Apple is said to be working on two variants of Apple Watch.
Of the two, one is a slightly upgraded model of the existing one. The other variant of “Apple Watch” will include GPS, Barometer and better waterproofing than its predecessor. It will include updated internal components like 16nm TSMC-made processor, better battery etc.
Ming-Chi Kuo (KGI Analyst) has sent out note to investors, which was obtained by Apple Insider, states that it will launch two variant of Apple Watch in second half of 2016. The Second model will be called the “Apple Watch 2” and will be the premium variant.
In terms of design, the Smartwatch will highly resemble to its predecessor. It will have improved geo-location capabilities as it has GPS radio and barometer bundled inside. Kuo also believes that, the smartwatch will have improved battery but will be restricted by size.
Additionally, he believes that Apple will stick to its original design till 2017 and expects more radical design changes in the year 2018. Kuo is also expected fiscal 2016 shipment predictions between 10 to 11 million units.
