Asus has unveiled its two new Zenfone Max series smartphones called Zenfone Max Shot and Zenfone Max Plus M2. These come with new System-in-Package (SiP) processors which where developed in partnership with Qualcomm and Universal Scientific Industrial (USI).
The Zenfone Max Shot 3GB RAM variant price is BRL 1349 ($350 approx.) while the Zenfone Max Shot 4GB RAM model costs BRL 1699 ($445 approx.). The Zenfone Max Plus M2 on the other hand carries price-tag of BRL 1299 ($340 approx.) These come in Silver, Blue, Black and Red colors.
ASUS Zenfone Max Shot
This particular handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTe. The mobile has dimensions of 159.2 x 76.2 x 8.4 mm and has weight of 165 grams.
It has 6.2-inch Super IPS LED Backlight multi-touch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has 4000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging and offers about 40 hours of 3G talk time on full charge.
The smartphone features in 8MP selfie camera. At the back side is 12MP (Sony IMX486 sensor, F/1.8) + 5MP + 8MP triple rear shooters with LED Flash. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM RAdio and 3.5mm Audio jack are supported.
ASUS Zenfone Max Plus M2
It has same dimensions of 159.2 x 76.2 x 8.4 mm wight 165 grams weight. It has 6.2-inch 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
The Zenfone Max Plus M2 houses 1.8GHz SiP1 processor (14nm) with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 2TB using dedicated MicroSD card slot.
The smartphone is powered by Android 8.0 Oreo OS and supports all the same connectivity options of Zenfone Max Shot.
