Google has unveiled Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 X smartphones. These come with dual SIM slots (nano + eSIM) and runs on Android Pie OS. Google has promised at least 3 years of updates. They come with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Both of these smartphones come with Aluminum frame, matte finish hybrid coating and has Soft touch or polished glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back.
The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL comes with all new Motion Sense feature which is powered by Project Soli.It uses Miniature radar sensor to detect movement around the phone and can sense when user is reaching for phone and initiate face unlock.
There are Quick Gestures which can be used to skip song, snooze alarms, dismiss timers etc. Motion sense comes activated by default However, Japanese markets will get it soon.
Both of these mobile phones come with new recorder. It can record anything, transcribe speech, identify sounds and allows one to search within recording using specific words or sounds. All of this is an on-device feature and does not require connectivity. Currently English is available for transcription and search.

The Google Pixel 4 64GB Price is $799 (Rs. 57,100 approx.) while Pixel 4 128GB price is $899 (Rs. 64,250 approx.). The Pixel 4 XL 64GB price is 899 (Rs. 64,250 approx.) while the Pixel 4 XL 128GB price is $999 (Rs. 71,400 approx.). It comesi n Just Black, Clearly White and Limited Edition Oh So Orange colors. The handset is already up for pre-order in USA and several other markets. It will start shipping from October 24th.
For those looking to buy Pixel 4 / 4XL in India, there is sad news. Google will not launch these mobiles in India. Main reason is that Project Soli radar based gesture technology uses 60GHz mmWave frequency to provide features like Face Unlock, IR Sensor and Motion Sense. The 60GHz frequency is locked in India (for now) and is permitted for use only in Military or government projects.
