Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ with Kirin 990 5G SoC, 8GB RAM announced

Huawei’s Honor brand has announced Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ smartphones in China. These were introduced along side Honor 30.

The Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+ are identical in terms of specs. Only noticeable different are its rear cameras, RAM and storage options and Wireless charging support for the 30Pro+ variant.

The Honor 30 Pro / 30 Pro Plus features in 6.57-inch WaterFall OLED display which has 70-degree curve at the edges. These have FHD+ resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Plus model offers 90Hz refresh rate.

These come with octa-core Kirin 990 5G SoC inside. Depending on the model, you get 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage space. Both of these smartphones pack in VC liquid cooling to keep the temperature in check. They have dual speakers for enhanced audio.

The Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ houses 32MP (main) + 8MP (wide-angle) dual front cameras. The former sports 40MP + 16MP + 8MP triple camera setup while the plus variant houses 50MP + 16MP + 8MP triple rear cameras.

These have 400mAh (typ) battery and support 40W superCharge fast charging. The 30 Pro Plus also supports 27W wireless charging.

Honor 30 Pro / 30 Pro+ Specifications

The Honor 30 Pro 8GB/128GB price is 3999 Yuan (US$ 565 / Rs. 43,250 approx.) while its 8GB/256GB variant costs 4399 Yuan (US$ 622 / Rs. 47,580).

The Honor 30 Pro+ 8GB/256GB variant price is 4999 Yuan (US$ 707 / Rs. 54,140 approx.) while its 12GB/256GB model costs 5499 Yuan (US$ 778 / Rs. 59,470 approx.).

These handset come in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, Green and Neop Purple (only in 30 Pro) colors. These will go on sale in China from April 21. Pre-orders starts today itself.
