Honor has officially announced its three Magic Series smartphones called Magic3, Magic3 Pro and Magic3 Pro+. These are first flagship mobiles from company after it parted ways with Huawei.
Honor Magic3 and Honor Magic3 Pro specs
The Honor Magic3 measures 162.8 x 74.9 x 8.99 mm (glass) – 9.5mm (leather) and weighs just about 203/202 grams respectively. It has IP54 water resistant rating.
The Magic3 houses octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space. It has triple-rear cameras consisting of 50MP (main, Sony IMX766 sensor, F/1.9) + 13MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 64MP (monochrome, F/2.2) shooters and LED Flash. These support laser auto focus.
The Magic3 Pro has same dimensions of non pro model however, it is slightly heavier at 213 grams (glass) / 212 grams (leather). The handset comes with IP68 water resistant rating.
The Honor Magic3 Pro specs include Octa-core Snapdragon 888 Plus mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It has options of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 512GB built-in storage space. It has quad-rear cameras making up of 50MP (main, Sony IMX766 sensor, F/1.9) + 13MP (ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 64MP (monochrome, F/2.2) + 64MP (periscope telephoto, F/3.5, 3.5x optical / 10x hybrid / 100x digital zoom).
The Honor Magic3 and Magic3 Pro both feature 6.76-inch Flex OLED display offering 2772 x 1334 pixels resolution, HDR10+ support, 120Hz refresh rate and DCi-P3 colors. These have an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and USB Type-C audio.
They include 13MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture and another 3D ToF depth sensing exclusive to Pro model. These have 4600mAh battery with 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging. The Pro model also supports 50W Wireless Huawei SuperCharge and reverse charging.
These mobiles are powered by Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0. They have dual SIM support and supports 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE. Additionally, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V5.2 LE, Dual Band GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen1, NFC and USB Type-C audio.
Honor Magic3 Pro+ specs
The Magic 3 Pro+ comes with 6.76-inch Flex OLED display, but with 2722 x 1334 pixels resolution. It has 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 colors and HDR10+ support. Its screen has Nano Crystal Shield coating on top.
Pumping inside is octa-core Snapdragon 888+ mobile platform with Adreno 660 GPU. It has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space. The handset comes pre-installed with Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0.
The Magic3 Pro Plus houses 4600mAh (typical) battery capaicty and supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge, 50W Wireless SuperCharge and reverse charging.
The handset measures 162.8 x 74.9 x 9.94 mm and weighs 236 grams. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and sports IP68 water resistant rating. It has stereo speakers and supports USB Type-c audio.
The Honor Magic3 Pro+ features in quad-rear cameras with LED flash. It has 50MP (main, Sony IMX700 sensor, F/1.9, Full Pixel Octa PD) + 64MP (ultra-wide, F/2.4, Macro option) + 64MP (monochrome, F/2.2) + 64MP (periscope telephoto, F/3.5, 3.5x optical / 10x hybrid / 100x digital zoom). At the front side are 13MP (F/2.4) and 3D Depth sensing ToF sensor.

The Honor Magic3 vanilla model comes in Glass Black, Ceramic White, Aurora Blue and Glory Gold colors. The Magic3 Pro has Ceramic White, Gloss Black and Glory Gold colors. The Magic3 Pro+ comes in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White colors. All of these mobile phones are up for order in China and will go on sale from August 20th. Global availability details were not revealed.
