HTC VIVE standalone VR Headset announced for China market

HTC VIVE, a premium Standalone VR Headset has made its way in Chinese markets. HTC Corporation, the company behind VR technologies announced it at ChinaJoy 2017.
The VIVE Standalone VR headset will utilize Viveport as its official content platform. It is best in class premium device in its segment in China.
The device offers high quality VR experience to broader audiences, but at an affordable tag. It does not require an external PC or smartphone to work.
The VIVE Standalone makes use of advanced features of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile VR platform design to support built-in VR functionality. This will allow developers to build rich libraries of VR experiences and release compelling content.
