Huawei has announced its latest water-resistant wireless earphones called Freelace. It was announced along side P30 and P30 Pro smartphones at Paris event.
It has tangle free chord while its earphones are wrapped inside nickel-titanium alloy and liquid silicon. There is a built-in Hall magnetic sensor which detects if the earphones are in use. It has 28-degree ergonomic earbuds for comfortable fitting.
The Huawei Freelace features in 9.2mm dynamic driver unit and houses a 120 mAh battery (3C high efficiency Lithium). It is said to offer about 18 hours of playback. Company says that just 5-minutes of charging offers about 4 hours of playback.
The earphones are IPX5 rated for water resistance. It has total length of 837 meters with cable length of 788mm and weight of just 27 grams. The Freelace also includes Multi-Function buttons for Power and Volume.
It uses Bluetooth V5.0 to connect with smartphones. It has built-in USB Type-C plug and leverages Huawei HiPair technology that charges earphones when plugged inside a smartphone. The earphones also feature Dual-Channel Wind Noise Reduction and Bluetooth Noise cancelling algorithm.
The Huawei Freelace price is €99 (US$ 110 / Rs. 7,700 approx.) and comes in Amber Sunrise, Emerald Green and Graphite Black colors. It will go on sale soon.
