Lenovo along with Z5 and K5 Note has also announced a budget handset called Lenovo A5. It has metal like finishing at the back and houses a fingerprint sensor.
The device measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 8.5 mm and weighs 176 grams. It has Dual SIM Slots (Nano + Nano) and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The mobile runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 3.9 Lite on top.
The Lenovo A5 specs include 5.45-inch 2.5D curved glass multi-touch display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 SoC with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU.
It has 3GB RAM and offers 16GB / 32GB storage options, with further option for expanding up to 256GB using MicroSD card. A decent 4000mAh battery powers the hardware.
The Lenovo A5 features in 8MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture for selfies. At the back side is 13MP main camera with F/2.2 Aperture, Auto Focus capabilities and LED Flash.
Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2 and GPS are supported as well.
The Lenovo A5 price starts at 599 Yuan (US$ 93 / Rs. 6,290 approx.) for 16GB storage model. It comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colors.
