LG has officially confirmed that its upcoming flagship will fall under its new ThinQ series. The upcoming LG G6 successor will be called as LG G7 ThinQ. Moreover, company also confirmed that it will announce this flagship phone on May 2, 2018.
LG has already unveiled LG V30 ThinQ smartphone in February 2018. The G7 ThinQ marks second in line under the series. We are expecting it to pack in AI features including Voice AI and Vision AI.
Recently, press render of the smartphone leaked out. It clearly showed that LG G7 ThinQ features in dual rear cameras. Just under it is a fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking. At the front, the smartphone sports bezel-less design. There is notch at top center for camera and sensor.
While there is no official word on specifications, rumors says that G7 ThinQ could pack in 6.1-inch display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Also expect Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB storage options.
There are chatters that the handset could come with 8MP front facing wide angle camera and 16MP + 16MP dual rear shooters with LED Flash and Laser Auto Focus. Battery might be of just 3000 mAh capacity.
LG will unveil LG G7 ThinQ on May 2nd at Metropolitan West in Manhattan, New York. Company has also scheduled another event on May 3rd at I-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
