LG Electronics has unveiled its new generation of Ultra Monitors line up ahead of CES 2020. These come with superior design and delivers cutting-edge performance. The lineup includes LG UltraFine Ergo (32UN880), UltraGear (27GN950, 34GN850, 38GN950) and UltraWide (83WN95C) monitors.
LG UltraFine Ergo 2020
The monitor comes with model number 32UN880. It has 32-inch (31.5-inch precisely) IPS display with 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K UHD resolution. It delivers 350nits brightness and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut. It has 1.07B color bit, 60Hz refresh rate, 5ms response time and supports HDR 10.
The 32-inch UltraFine “Ergo” 4K UHD monitor features in AMD Radeon FreeSync and comes with 1 x USB-C, 2 x HDMI, 1x DP and 2 x USB ports at bottom.
The LG Ergo offers USB-C One cable solution for a monitor that delivers unbeatable performance. It delivers stunning picture quality which UltraFine series is renowned for. The USB-C One cable solution provides 4K imaging, faster data transfer and power for laptop charging through a single cable.
The LG UltraFine Ergo 2020 sports a technologically and ergonomically advanced arm-type stand with its high degree of adjustability. The stand can extend outward or positioned close to the wall, moved up to eye level or lowered to the desk.
LG UltraGear 2020 Gaming Monitors
LG’s new 2020 UltraGear gaming monitors comes in three models – 27GN950, 34GN850 and 38GN950. These deliver blistering speed and excellent picture quality. These have 1ms Gray-to-Gray (GTG) IPS display
The model 27GN950 comes with 27-inch Nano IPS display with 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K UHD resolution and supports VESA DisplayHDR 600 (38GN950 also supports it while 34GN850 supports VESA DisplayHDR 400). It has 450nits brightness, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1.07B color bit and 144Hz refresh rate (160Hz OC). The unit also offers hardware calibration to maximize the ability of LG’s IPS technology for precise color reproduction.
These models are compatible with DisplayPort Adaptive Sync G-SYNC Compatibility. Ergonomically, it supports Height, Pivot and Tilt adjustments. The 27GN950 comes with 1up / 2down USB, 1 x DP and 2 x HDMI ports.
The UltraGear Models 34GN850 and 38GN950 comes with a large 1ms IPS display and 160Hz refresh rate. Both of t hem come with an upgraded stand which is not only sleek but stronger and more stable.
2020 LG UltraWide Monitor
LG has developed its new 38-inch Curved UltraWide QHD+ monitor. It has model number 38WN95C. The display boasts a 3840 x 1600 pixels QHD+ resolution and features 1ms Nano IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.
Other screen features include 450nits (typical) brightness, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1.07B color bit and VESA DisplayHDR 600 support. It has 1 x Thunderbolt 3 port, 2 x HDMI port, 1 x DP and 2USB slots at bottom.
