Lenovo has officially launched its latest Moto G Series smartphone in India called Moto G5. It was announced earlier this year at MWC 2017.
It has dedicated dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and comes with pre-installed apps like Amazon Prime, Amazon.in and Kindle app.
The Moto G5 specs include 5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There is a water repellent nano coating on the front as well. Internal hardware makes up of 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 processor with Adreno 505 GPU.
It has 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB using dedicated MicroSD Card. It has 2800 mAh battery with rapid charging support. The battery is removable as well.
The smartphone measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 grams. It has front ported loud speaker and a fingerprint sensor on home button.
The Moto G5 features in 5MP selfie snapper with OmniVision OV5693 sensor and F/2.2 Aperture. The back side houses 13MP camera with F/2.0 Aperture, LED Flash, PDAF and 1080p video recording support.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Moto G5 is priced at INR 11,999 ($185 approx.) and comes in Fine Gold and Lunar Gray colors. It will be available exclusively at Amazon.in from midnight. Company is also offering a free 16GB microSD card along with G5 for early buyers. Amazon prime users who buy will get INR 1000 Amazon Pay balance, while HDFC credit card users can avail INR 1000 cashback.
