Nokia 2 goes on pre-order in Russia

HMD Global’s Nokia 2 smartphone is now up for pre-order in Russia. It is and entry level Nokia phone with with affordable price-tag. It is priced at RUB 7,990 which converts to US$ 135 / Rs. 8,800 approx.
If you consider the global average price of Nokia 2, it costs just €99 which is about US$ 115 / Rs. 7,440 considering recent exchange rates. HMD Global had already confirmed that Nokia 2 will go on sale in Mid November globally.
Looking at the specifications, main USP of this budget smartphone is its 4100 mAh battery capacity. It is said to offer two days of usage, which company is highly emphasizing on.
The phone is splash resistant due to IP52 rating. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo OS. The Nokia 2 specs include 5-inch in-cell LTPS display with 720p resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Nokia 2 image -2It is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 212 SoC, 1GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8GB ROM. The handset also allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card. It has 5MP fixed focus camera at the front and 8MP AF shooter at the back. Usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.1 and GPS are supported as well.
