ZTE’s Nubia brand has finally launched its unique wearable device called Nubia Alpha. Company is calling it as its first smartphone watch. Nubia showcased the device at IFA 2019 earlier this year. Along with it, company has also unveiled its Nubia Pods in partnership with 1MORE.
The Nubia Alpha comes with 4.01-inch Visionox made flexible OLED Display with 960 x 192 pixels resolution and a tall 36:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 platform and includes 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
The device houses a heart rated sensor and is powered by 500 mAh battery. Company claims a battery life of up to 1 or 2 days with regular usage and up to a week of standby. It has features like Exercise and Health assistant, sleep and running tracker.
The Nubia Alpha price is 3499 Yuan (US$ 520 / Rs. 36,250 approx.) 4G Black color variant. The Nubia Alpha 4GG Gold with 18K gold plated band costs higher at 4499 Yuan (US$ 670 / Rs. 46,620 approx.). It will go on sale in China from April 10th.
The Nubia Pods costs 799 Yuan (US$ 118 / Rs. 8,280 approx.) and will be available from April 10th. Those who buy Nubai Alpha in fist sale will receive Nubia Pods for free.
