It seems that a new OPPO smartphone with model number PENM00 is nearing its launch. The model has recently received certification from TENAA, a compulsory Chinese certification authority.
The Oppo PENM00 TENAA listing has shed some light on specifications of smartphone. Additionally, it is speculated that handset will launch with name Oppo Reno6 Pro+ 5G.
According to the Chinese authority, the mobile has dimensions of 160.8 x 72.5 x 7.99 mm and weighs 188 grams. It has dual 2200mAh (4400mAh minimum) battery capacity with fast charging support.
The PENM00 model sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
The alleged Reno6 Pro+ 5G has dual SIM connectivity with support for SA/NSA bands and dual 4G VoLTE. It is powered by Android 11 OS out of the box.
TENAA also confirms a 3.2GHz octa-core chipset which is Snapdragon 870 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU. It will have 8GB / 12GB RAM options and 128GB / 256GB storage variants. There is no expansion slot though.
The Oppo PENM00 houses quad-rear cameras consisting of 50MP + 16MP + 13MP + 2MP shooters and LED Flash. These also support 4K video recording. For the front side, Reno6 Pro+ will house a 32MP selfie camera.
Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/QZSS will be supported. The device also includes Gravity, Proximity and Light sensors inside.
The Oppo PENM00 is expected in Blue, Silver and Grey colors. Official launch is expected soon.
