Oppo expands its Reno Series lineup in China with announcement of its latest Reno5 5G smartphone. It runs on Android 11 based ColorOS 11 out of the box.
The handset sports a 6.43-inch OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, 2400 x 1080 pixels full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has slim bezels boasting 91.7% screen-to-body ratio. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and unlocking.
The Oppo Reno5 5G specs include octa-core Snapdragon 765G mobile platform with Adreno 620 GPU. The mobile comes in options of 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space and 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 2.1 storage.
As far as optics goes, the device features in 32MP front camera with F/2.4 Aperture. At the back side, it has 64MP main camera with F/1.7 Aperture, 8MP Ultra-wide camera with 119-degree lens and F/2.2 Aperture, 2MP Macro lens and 2MP Mono portrait lens with F/2.4 Aperture.
The Oppo Reno 5 5G features in 4300mAh battery inside and supports 65W Super Flash Charge (SuperVOOC 2.0) fast charging. In terms of measurements, they are 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm and has 172 grams weight.
Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA) / Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Oppo Reno5 5G 8GB/128GB variant price is 2699 Yuan ($412 / Rs. 30,400 approx.) while its 12GB/256GB model costs 2999 Yuan (US$ 458 / Rs. 33,750 approx.). It comes in Aurora Blue, Glitter Blue and Midnight Black colors. It is already up for order in China and will start selling from December 18th.
