Philips Xenium X818 smartphone with 4G LTE, 5.5-inch 1080p display launched in Russia

Philips has launched a new smartphone in Russia called Xenium X818. The phone has dimensions of 153.5 x 76 x 6.95 mm, weighs 167.5 grams and sports a metal frame.
The handset also comes with antimicrobial oleophobic coating . It has 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch as well. The screen also makes use of SoftBlue technology that greatly reduces blue light from the display. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection as well.
The Philips Xenium X818 specs include 2GHz octa-core 64-Bit MediaTek Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860 Mp2 GPU. It is backed by 3GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage space. It also has MicroSD card slot for further storage expansion up to 128GB.
This smartphone runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow OS with customized UI. It has Fingerprint sensor embedded on physical home button. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE networks.
philips-xenium-x818-image-1This Android Smartphone houses 16MP main camera on the back with LED flash, PDAF and takes quality pictures even in low light conditions. Full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps is also support. On the front side is 8MP secondary camera for selfies and video calling.
The Xenium X818 features 3900 mAh Li-Ion battery with support for Xpower technology. It offers at least 11 hours of talk time and 456 hours of standby. The mobile also comes with a dedicated power saving mode button as well.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, USB 2.0 Type-C, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5m Audio Jack etc.
The Philips Xenium X818 is priced at 23,990 Rubles  (about US$ 373) and comes in Champagne Gold colors.
