Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) with 4G LTE, 5000mAh battery launched in India

Samsung has launched its latest mid-segment 4G Tablet in India called Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017). It has physical home button and capacitive menu buttons on its sides.
The Tablet measures 212.1 x 124.1 x 8.9 mm and weighs 364 grams. It metal body design, comes with Nano SIM slot and supports 4G LTE (with voice calling). The tablet runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) specs include an 8-inch TFT display with 1280 x 800 pixels WXGA resolution. A 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor sits at the core with Adreno 308 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 tablet image 3The SoC is backed by 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.It has 5MP selfie shooter and 8MP primary camera at the back with LED Flash, Auto Focus, F/1.9 Aperture and 1080p video recording support.
The hardware is powered by 5000 mAh battery that is claimed to offer up to 36 Hours 3G Talk time, up to 14 hours of video playback or about 153 hours of constant audio playback.
Connectivity wise it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0 and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Samsung Galaxy A 2017 price is set at Rs. 17,999 (US$ 275 approx.) and comes in Gold and Black color options. It is already available at retail stores in India and Samsung Online store. Samsung is also offer Book Cover for Rs. 2499 and one-tine screen replacement for Rs. 990 for 1 year from date of purchase (applicable for first month of launch).
