Samsung has announced the launch of two new premium soundbars models – HW-Q950T and HW-Q900T. Both of them are tuned at Samsung Audio Lab in Valencia, California.
The Samsung HW-Q950T and HW-Q900T both support Dolby Atmos for immersive audio. They have support for DTS:X for multi-directional audio experience. The eARC support further delivers full, rich and high quality surround sound like Dolby TrueHD.
The HW-Q950T gives out audio quality of 9.1.4-channel, which is maximum number of channels available in home-theater system in a single soundbar. It has two wireless rear up-firing speakers along with left and right wide channel speakers to a previous 7.1.4 channel system.
Users of both models can enhance immersive experience by easily connecting soundbars to Samsung’s 2020 QLED TV’s. Q-symphony activates and plays surround sound from both the TV and soundbar.
Samsung has reduced height of both models to 69.5mm (from 83mm) to fit perfectly with TV. These are also wrapped in Kvadrat textile for premium elegance and maximizing sound penetrations.
These also feature SmartThings App and Alexa voice service which can be used to access music streaming services like Amazon Music, Spotify, Tuneln and iHeart Ratio simply with voice commands. Its Tap Sound feature easily streams music from smartphones into soundbar.
“In collaboration with Audio Lab in the US, we have been able to develop multi-dimensional surround sound that can be more accessible at home, which was previously only possible with a separate home-theater system. In addition to improving sound quality, we also focused on fine-tuning the soundbar’s design aesthetic by using eco-friendly textiles, made by Danish premium brand Kvadrat.”
