Seagate Technology, known for its storage solutions, has announced new Game Drive for Xbox SSD. It is designed exclusively for Xbox and delivers fast boot and load performance.
It makes use of flash storage to improve gaming experience and is ultra-portable as well. It reduces the waiting time on welcome screens and reduces loading time between levels.
The Seagate Game Drive for Xbox SSD comes with 512GB of storage capacity. It can store about 15 gaming titles and their downloadable content. The external SSD address the need for extra storage space required by ever increasing game install sizes. The SSD has dimensions of 113.5 x 76 x 9.6 mm and delivers performance up to 440 MB/s.
The Game Drive is easy to setup and installs in seconds. If you are worried of aesthetics, it has sleek and stylish aluminum enclosure. It does not require any additional power cable and is easy to carry as well.
The Seagate Game Drive for Xbox SSD is priced at US$ 199.99 (MSRP) and will be available at Amazon. It comes in Black brushed aluminum color. Company has also introduced HDD version in 2TB and 4TB storage options last year.
