Sony expands its Walkman family with its new member, the NW-ZX300. The announcement was done at IFA 2017 event in Berlin.
It has a slim and light weight design and comes with music dedicated touchscreen interface, bringing every function at listeners fingertips. The body has matte finishing and comes with a unified matte glass screen for smooth use.
The Sony NW-ZX300 Walkmen’s built-in battery offers up to 30 hours of battery life, making is suitable for long journeys. It has 64GB internal storage as well which is further expandable.
The device sports a netly designed music player with balanced output realized by S-Master HX digital amplifier and lead-free solder. It’s interface has been neatly designed to suit all the needs of music lovers.
It offers both 11.2MHz DSD native playback and 384kHz/32bit PCM playback, It delivers balanced standard connection with fully discret left and right channels for less noise and clear sound.
The ZX300 comes with USB-DAC that allows one to stream directly from existing device like PC. It also supports MQA files, so that Hi-Res audio can be enjoyed.
Listeners will not have to compromise in quality of sound, as the Walkman incorporates Aluminum chassis for less resistance value. The FTCAP and new film capacitor are also incorporated for more transparent vocals and solid bass.
Sony has also used OFC cables for wiring the internal amplifier to headphone jack, resulting in low resistance and powerful sound quality. Additionally company has also used two crystal oscillators to deliver high quality sound.
The ZX300 easily connects wirelessly with other devices using Bluetooth technology. It also includes NFC and supports Sony’s LDAC. It is also compatible with Qualcomm aptX HD audio.
The Sony NW-ZX300 Walkman is priced at $699.99 (MSRP) and will be available from October.
