Sony seems to be working on a mid-range smartphone and its latest listing validates the claim. A smartphone with the name – Sony Pikachu has been listed at GFXBench revealing some of its key specifications.
For starters, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. It has 5-Inch multi-touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
The listing also reveals that Pikachu is is powered by 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6757 Helio P20 processor coupled with dual-core MaliT-880 MP2 GPU.
It has 3GB RAM (2.8GB precisely) and 32GB internal storage space, of which about 22GB is user available.
The GFXBench listing of Sony Pickachu also reveals 8MP front facing 1080p camera coupled with 21MP main snapper on the back with LED flash, Auto Focus, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, Face-Detection, HDR and 1080p video recording support.
The said model houses single SIM slot and supports all major connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC etc. It also comes with Accelerometer, Compass, Ambient Light and Proximity sensors.
