Sony mobile has launched Xperia XA1 Plus smartphone in India. It was first unveiled last month and is a slightly larger variant of Xperia XA1.
It measures 155 x 75 x 8.7 mm and weighs 190 grams. It has very slim side bezels. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and packs in Dual SIM slots.
The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus specs include 5.5-Inch display that has 1920 x 1080 pixels image enhance technology. The screen offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and also supports multi-touch.
An octa-core 64-bit MediaTek Helio P20 SoC sits at the core with ARM Mali-T880 GPU. It is backed by 4GB RAM, 32GB storage space and allows further expansion up to 256GB as well.
The hardware is powered by 3430 mAh battery. It also supports Qnovo Adaptive fast charging. On the camera front, it has 8MP selfie snapper with F/2.0 Aperture, 1/4-inch Exmor R sensor and 23mm wide-angle lens. On the rear side is 23MP primary shooter with LED Flash, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, F/2.0 Aperture and Hybrid AF.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE (not sure about VoLTE), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC etc.
The Xperia XA1 Plus is priced at Rs. 24,990 (US$ 385 approx.) and comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors. It will start retailing in India from September 22.
