Sony Mobile has unveiled a new smartphone called Xperia XA2 Plus. It seems to a larger variant of Xperia XA2 and packs in some mid-range specifications.
The handset comes in Single / Dual SIM options. It measures 157 x 75 x 9.6 mm and weighs 205 grams. It has squarish design and houses a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus specs include 6-inch display with Image Enhance Technology. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
A 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform sits at the core with Adreno 508 GPU. The base variant comes with 4GB RAM with 32GB storage. There is a 6GB RAM / 64GB storage model as well. The mobile also supports further expansion up to 400GB using MicroSD card.
The Xperia XA2 Plus features in a single 23MP rear camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS Sensor, 84-degree wide angle lens and Hybrid Auto Focus support. At the front side is an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.4 Aperture, 1/4-inch Exmor R Sensor and 120-degree super wide lens.
The cell phone also delivers High-Resolution audio and comes with LDAC5, DSEE HX, ClearAudio+ and Smart Amplifier. The hardware is juiced up by 3580 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charing and Qnovo Adaptive charging support.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, NFC, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus comes in Black, Silver, Gold and Green colors. It will start rolling out in August 2018. Pricing details were not revealed.
