The Sony Xperia XZ1, which was first unveiled at IFA 2017 has been officially launched in India. It has metal body design and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo OS out of the box.
The phone has dimensions of 156 x 77 x 7.9 mm, weighs 155 grams and comes with IP65 / 68 rating for water and dust resistance. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots, both nano of which one doubles up for MicroSD card. There is a fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 specs include 5.2-inch TRILUMINOS display with X-Reality engine. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and has Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well. Inside is octa-core Qualcomm Snapdraogn 835 Mobile Platform with Adreno 540 GPU.
The SoC is backed by 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card. It is powered by 2700 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive charging.
The Smartphone is equipped with DSEE HX, LDAC supports Digital Noise cancelling. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, USB 3.1-Type C, GPS/GLONASS, NFC etc.
