Fitness brand Under Armour and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have come together to launch new wireless rugged headphones called Sport Wireless – Project Rock Edition.
Project Rock Edition is Dwayne Johnson’s apparel brand. The Sport Wireless headsets pack in a rugged design with an IPX4 rating. It is sturdy enough to withstand toughest gym conditions.
It has UA SuperVent ear cushions that are light, durable and fast drying. It is also removable and washable. It’s gripping material completely lines the inner headband and ear cushions. The wireless headsets have rugged metal hinges to fold ear cups.
The Sports Wireless – Project Rock Edition delivers JBL Charged Sound, tuned specially for sports. It delivers rich bass and leverages Talk-Thru technology. It drops music down and turns on speech-optimized, noise-cancelling mics for one to easily talk between sets without removing headphones.
The headphone also has option to mute mic in calls and trigger SIRI or Google Now. The device uses Bluetooth technology for cable free zero-distraction performance. Additionally there are oversized controls with premium finishing for ease of use.
The UA Sports Wireless – Project Rock Edition features in 16 hours of battery life. Company claims that 5-minutes of super charge offers about 1 hours playback time.
The Under Armour Sport Wireless – Project Rock Edition Price is set at US$ 249.95 and comes in Black color. It is already up for pre-order at company’s official site and will start shipping from September 15th.
