VIVO has officially introduced a new Y Series smartphone in China called VIVO Y74s 5G. The device is basically a replica of recently announced Y76s cell phone.
The VIVO Y74s 5G offers dual SIM connectivity with its Nano Slots. It has fingerprint sensor at side while its 8MP front camera supports facial recognition. At the back side on this mobile are dual cameras and LED flash. These include 50MP main and 2MP macro lenses.
The handset is 7.79 mm thick. It comes with 6.58-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and 90.61% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood is an octa-core Dimensity 810 processor with 8GB RAM. It supports 4GB virtual RAM from storage.
The Y74s comes with 256GB storage space and supports further expansion up to 1TB using MicroSD card. The device includes a 4100mAh (typical) battery and supports 44W fast charging. Vivo claims it to offer up to 16 hours of 4G VoLTE talk time or up to 26.6 days of standby.
The smartphone runs on OriginOS 1.0 which is based on Android 11. It supports 5G (SA/NSA) and dual 4G VoLTE.
