Xiaomi Mi Play to be announced on December 24, gets teased with water-drop notch

Xiaomi has started teasing its latest Mi Play series smartphone. The handset is scheduled to go official on December 24th.
Company has revealed several teaser photos at its official site which shows key aspects at least in terms of design. The device comes in several colors, which includes Black, White, Blue, Yellow, Red, Green, Pink, Purple, Gold, Gray and Silver colors.
Just yesterday, two smartphones bearing model numbers Xiaomi M1901F9T and M1901F9E got certified by TENAA. Initially, they were believed to be of Redmi 7 Series but latest teaser photos of Mi Play series phone are exactly the same as the ones revealed by TENAA.
According to the specs revealed by certification authority, the device has dimensions of 147.76 x 71.89 x 7.8 mm and has weight of 150 grams. There is a rear facing fingerprint sensor which is clearly visible.
The mobile packs in 5.85-inch multi-touch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has 2.3GHz octa-core processor and comes in options of 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM with 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal memory (expandable).
The Smartphone is also expected with 12MP primary rear camera along with secondary rear shooter. At the front side will be an 8MP selfie camera. A 3000 mAh typical battery will power the hardware.
The Xiaomi Mi Play will go official next week on Monday, December 24th.
